2016 Keller ‘von der Fels’ Riesling

I had the pleasure of downing the 2016 Keller ‘von der Fels’ Riesling last night. This bottle is an example of what brilliant wines were produced in this very difficult vintage. Von der Fels comes from fruit picked from the lower sections of Keller’s Grosse Lage sites.

Plus complexity. Gilded, succulent and elegant, firm structure and real persistance. Plus length. So good for the relatively low price.

I am a lover of wine with a particular fondness for Riesling. This blog exists as much to organise my thoughts and document my learning process as it does to share 'knowledge'. Thank you for your patience.
